Format and content requirements for the written PhD reports due every semester
According to Section 5.§ 8. of the Doctoral Regulations of the University of Debrecen, every PhD student has to submit a written report on the work carried out during the given period to his/her supervisor every semester. At the end of each semester, the reports (together with a short evaluation) are forwarded to the head of the doctoral school. The document must be sent to the subject leader by the end of the 14th week of the doktori@eng.unideb.hu to the following e-mail address.
The report should address the following:
- a detailed description of the research work carried out during the semester,
- a list of conference presentations and poster presentations held during the semester,
- a list of publications published or accepted for publication during the semester,
- a description of the educational activities held during the semester.
Formal requirements for the report:
Reports should be submitted electronically as pdf files to (PhD student semester evaluation) on the basis of a form. The reports must be signed by the student, so the pdf file must include the signature! The report should be no less than two pages in length and should include illustrations of the research findings if possible.
